Design line of 3 different handles made of 100% waste. The project uses 100% waste from furniture production (wood chips) and recyclate derived from the grinding of used plastic packaging (mainly HDPE). It does not contain any admixtures of new material, additional binder or pigments.

The mixture, prepared in the right proportion of plastic to chips, is pressed. This technology allows for a very easy implementation of the project for industrial production, which may be competitive for products made of new material or which often takes place with new materials with admixtures of recyclates.

The handles are available in two heights and three diameters of the handle, thanks to which they can be easily adapted to the user’s needs or the style of the furniture, interior or individual preferences. They can also be combined together as a set of hangers, creating different arrangements.

The color of the handles depends on the color of the obtained material and the type of wood chips.

The same handle can be used either as a handle to a piece of furniture or mounted directly to the wall. The set includes a set for mounting on the furniture front and on the wall.

Source of Waste

The handle can be used as an ordinary handle for most furniture fronts: drawers, doors, kitchen cabinets or wardrobes, as well as a hanger mounted on the wall, side of the furniture, e.g. for clothes, bags, caps, etc.

The material samples were previously tested by professionals in a laboratory specialized in material testing. The design process was carried out in accordance with the principles of sustainable development. The finished product is suitable for reprocessing in subsequent cycles.

Our purpose is to show the audience, that products from wastes, are not always „ugly” and you can achieve very trendy look of it.
